TESLA $TSLA ($429.52, -3.68%):

– Some of the amazing Tesla Team that supported yesterday’s Shareholder Meeting. The ranged from Energy, Business Gerneration, Customer Experience, Sales Operations, Learning and Development, Delivery, and more. Per Tesla’s Ryan Torres (@RyanTorresTesla), “Superstar Tesla team here to support shareholders event.”

– Klarissa Garcia, Sr Site Specialist for Community and Site Relations at Tesla’s Gulf Coast Lithium Refinery, and her Lithium team hosted a table engaging attendees on the $375 million facility’s operations to produce battery-grade lithium hydroxide from spodumene concentrate and recycled sources using a patented low-emission process.

– Per Tesla Semi Lead Dan Priestley (@danWpriestley), “Immense number of improvements in next year’s Semi stemming from pilot fleet learnings and amazing innovations from the Tesla teams working on it. The new front end, besides having a new look, is packed with improvements – more aerodynamic, simpler to build, easier to repair, leverages more components from car lineup for better scale/lower cost. More technical details on these to come. Tesla will be the first customer as we electrify our supply chain. This includes Texas operations.”

– Tesla China’s Model Y Long Range Rear-Wheel Drive variant has received China’s Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT) approval. It is designated TSL6480EVBR0 with motor model 3D7 and features 78.4 kWh usable battery capacity, 821 km CLTC range, and 1891 kg curb weight.

– Tesla updated the app to include a “Charging” tab that consolidates stats, history, scheduling, and charger locator in one interface. H/T The Cybertruck Guy (@cybrtrkguy) on the screenshots. The update includes:

  • View Current charging season.

  • Toggle Low Power Mode.

  • See Charge Stats.

  • View previous Supercharging session.

  • Toggle Keep Accessory Power On.

  • Schedule charging.

  • Find a nearby charger.

SPACEX:

– The FAA issued a LAUNCH CURFEW emergency order primarily to address acute safety risks and operational strains in the National Airspace System (NAS) caused by the ongoing U.S. government shutdown. Starting on the 10h of November, Launches & Re-entries are banned between 6:00 a.m. – 8:00 p.m. local time; peak commercial flight time. Since the shutdown began, air traffic controllers—deemed essential personnel—have been required to continue working without pay, leading to widespread fatigue, unpredictable staffing shortages, increased delays, and a spike in voluntary safety reports highlighting elevated risks. This will slow launch cadence by a significant amount. Not sure how this applies to Federal Space Fore launches.

– Starship 39’s aft section rolled out of the Starfactory into Mega Bay 2. We got a great view of the new Ship Quick Disconnect (SQD) design. Starship Gazer (@StarshipGazer), captured both the tower side umbilical face at Massey’s test site yesterday, and the Ship interface last night. Subscribe to Gazer and support his amazing work.

– V3 No.2 Starship 40 inside the Starafactory.

– “SpaceX Development Test “ibeproofin)”.” This fixture was constructed at the Sanchez site, and is believed to serve as the breakover fixture for Super Heavy boosters. It has booster alignment pin sockets on its base. With the SpaceX LR11000 crane now activated, this fixture marks the inaugural hoist operation, and weekend flyover photos are anticipated to showcase impressive details. Unlike Pad 1, Pad 2 lacks booster alignment pins, so this should remedy that, making the precise seating into the sockets. H/T ChromeKiwi (@AshleyKillip).

– Great video by What about it!?’s @FelixSchlang of Test Tank B18.2 at Masseys.

– Yesterday at the Kennedy Space Center Turn Basin, SpaceX delivered three more tanks for Launch Complex 39A’s Starship tank farm. Screenshot from NSF’s (@NASASpaceflight) live feed.

– This Sunday, November 9th, the City of Starbase (@StarbaseTX) will hold their Veterans Celebration at Boca Chica Beach from 11 a.m. – 2 p.m. This is a SpaceX hosted event with a live band, speeches, and more. You can drive and park directly on the beach. Have fun everyone and take lots of pics!

NEURALINK:

– Such a great discussion and wealth of info given yesterday by Neuralink’s Clinical Trails Lead Romina Nejad (@RominaNejad, NP3 Brad Smith (@ALScyborg), NP7 Jake Schneider (@PairedWith_P7), and NP8 Nick Wray (@Telepath_8) at the ALS Network’s (@youralsnetwork) ASK ME educational webinar, “Neuralink and ALS – Building Neural Interfaces to Restore Autonomy.” Highly suggest you watch.

Tiffany and Brad showed us how easy it is to charge the device. Per Brad, it takes about 1 hour to fully charge.

– Rocky Stoutenburgh, better know as RockyNoHands (@Rockynohands), a quadriplegic gamer and content creator for Ghost Gaming, just flew from Detroit to San Francisco to question Neuralink about brain-chip tech for gaming. Questions that have been submitted range on dopamine in games, sleep effects, upgrades, speech apraxia, mental health, and thought-controlled actions. “I flew from Detroit to San Francisco to get some answers from Neuralink. Stay tuned!“ Per Danish Hussain, Neuralink’s Head of Surgery Mechanical Engineering, “Oh we ready brotha 🦾🦾”

■ STARLINK:

– SpaceX has started to give select “loyal Residential customers” FREE Starlink Minis! Many people have confirmed with me they have the offer and are jumping at it. Pretty sure you have to keep the Mini on the $5 Standby plan, but this is still an amazing deal. Thanks to Spencer Tetik (@spencertetik) for the screenshots on the details.

– Rogers Canada has enabled Starlink satellite messaging on cellular Apple Watch Ultra 3, Series 11, and SE 3 models bought from Rogers until June 30th, 2026, allowing off-grid texting via the Messages app. As the sole Canadian provider, the beta trial—free and open to all—runs until December 8, 2025, supporting text-to-911; post-beta costs $10/month first year, then $15/month. Activation via Rogers Satellite website takes 24 hours.

– The Starlink mobile app has earned two 2025 Expo App Awards nominations for App of the Year and Most Innovative. Its AR Sky Scanner optimizes dish placement, while the UI features smooth gestures, blurs, and gradients. It uses SDK modules like ExpoGL, Three.js, and React Three Fiber. Per VP of Starlink Engineering, Michael Nicolls (@michaelnicollsx), “Go Starlink app!

– X Japan’s Head of Marketing, Yohei Takeshita (@airbreeze), was interviewed by Agenda Note were he outlines X post the 2022 Musk acquisition and the shift to an “Everything App”. Key changes include:

  • Video Tab: Grok personalizes full-screen video feeds. In Japan, video watch time rose 14% in 2024 and now makes up 55% of time spent on X.

  • Content: Offers diverse topics plus exclusive shows, like the Horipro-Avex male vocalist reality series.

  • Ads: Grok auto-targets users by analyzing ad creatives (no keywords needed). Hashtags banned in ads since June 2024. New “Aesthetics Score” rewards clean, minimal designs. Tip: Use single-focus creatives for best results.

– X’s C Martinak (@C_MartinakStaying caffeinated and motivated at 𝕏!

– Today, X’s Global Government Affairs (@GlobalAffairs) team declared that the platform remains the leading free-speech venue, navigating user experience, safety, and compliance with thousands of local laws while rejecting any ideological endorsement. They emphasized that criticisms from governments, media, and NGOs aim to stifle dissent, affirming X as the sole space for all viewpoints—controversial included—to engage in unfiltered global discourse. Per Elon, “Free speech is essential for democracy to function. Without it, you can’t have real debate, and without real debate, you can’t have truth emerging from the chaos of opinions.”

■ xAI:

– Xlr8harder (@xlr8harder) was asked by xAI personnel to re-evaluate Grok 4 Fast after enhancements to its system prompts. When he did, it yielded substantial benchmark gains on the SpeechMap evaluation: grok-4-fast-reasoning rose from 77.5% to 94.1%, and grok-4-fast-non-reasoning advanced from 77.9% to 97.9%. “They’ve improved the injected system prompts. Huge improvement! I really appreciate that xAI takes this topic seriously.”

Per xAI’s Norman Mu (@TheNormanMu), “We’ve updated + published the injected system prompt for Grok 4 Fast recently so it should be better at instruction following and less restrictive.”

– xAI is adding a “Trending Now” feature to Grok.

■ ELON NEWS:

– Elon’s response to District 19 Texas Democrat Senator Roland Gutierrez’s (@RolandForTexas) video trying to smear Elon’s newly approved incentive plan. “You are a taker, not a maker. All you’ve done your whole life is take from the makers of the world. The zero-sum mindset you have is at the root of so much evil. Once you realize that civilization is not zero-sum and that it is about making far more than one consumes, then it becomes obvious that the path to prosperity for all is just let the makers make.

Regarding Tesla, the reality is that I have been given nothing. However, if I lead Tesla to become the most valuable company in the world by far and it stays that way for 5 years, shareholders voted to award me 12% of what is built. Anyone who wants to come along for the ride can buy Tesla stock. If Tesla “merely” becomes a $1.999 trillion dollar company, I get nothing. This is a great deal for shareholders, which is why they voted so overwhelmingly to approve this, for which I am immensely grateful. And they did so by a margin far more than you won your political seat.”

His feed is worse. For those need to know, Gutierrez represents all of Crockett County, Edwards County, Frio County, Kinney County, Maverick County, Real County, Terrell County, Uvalde County, Val Verde County, and Zavala County, along with portions of Atascosa County, Bexar County, Brewster County, and Guadalupe County. Key cities within the district include San Antonio (partial in Bexar County), Del Rio (Val Verde County), Eagle Pass (Maverick County), Uvalde (Uvalde County), and Universal City (Bexar County).

– Diffusion models are a smarter, faster, way to build AI that creates things like text, code, or videos all at once in parallel, instead of step-by-step like most AIs do now. Here is Elon replying to Stefano Ermon (@StefanoErmon) of Inception (@_inception_ai) and the startup’s use of this tech in their language models. “Diffusion will obviously work on any bitstream. With text, since humans read from first word to last, there is just the question of whether the delay to first sentence for diffusion is worth it. That said, the vast majority of AI workload will be video understanding and generation, so good chance diffusion is the biggest winner overall. Also means that the ratio of compute to memory bandwidth will increase.”
