THE BORING COMPANY:

– At the Boring Factory in Bastrop, Texas, TBC will host Demo Day 2025 on November 20th. They need mechanical, electrical, and software engineers, as well as production professionals like machinists, mechanics, electrical technicians, and welders. This an invite only event, so if you are interested, register HERE.

– Jesse Unke, a member of the Regional Transportation and Infrastructure Committee for the Greater Vancouver Board of Trade, attended the SEMA automotive show in Las Vegas and was blown away by the TBC’s Vegas Loop. “I’m a huge tunneling nerd, and the engineering and innovation that has gone into this infrastructure for a new form of transportation for Las Vegas is impressive.

– The Nashville Metro Convention Center Board is going to Las Vegas to gather more information on how the Music City Loop will work. During a meeting on Wednesday morning, the authority board discussed whether or not they need to visit the Las Vegas Loop. Their reasoning for going is so they are able to explain to people how the tunnel will work, rather than what they have been told or seen through renderings and videos.

■ STARLINK:

Today, EchoStar Corp entered into an amended definitive agreement to sell its full unpaired AWS-3 spectrum license portfolio—nationwide licenses in 3GPP Band 70n (1695-1710 MHz uplink)—to SpaceX for approximately $2.6 billion in SpaceX stock valued as of September 2025. This builds on the prior September agreement. The transaction will enable SpaceX to deploy the next-generation Starlink Direct to Cell constellation using the AWS-3 spectrum alongside AWS-4 and H-block licenses, while allowing EchoStar to pursue new business opportunities and accelerate direct-to-cell services for Boost Mobile customers and global enterprises via combined spectrum and SpaceX’s satellite capabilities.

– The International Airlines Group (IAG) announced a partnership with SpaceX to deploy Starlink across its member airlines including British Airways, Aer Lingus, Iberia, Vueling, and Iberia Express. Installation will start in 2026 on 500 of its 600 jets, with the remaining older aircraft slated for replacement by equipped models. It will be available for free to passengers on British Airways, Aer Lingus, and Iberia routes but requiring an additional fee for Vueling and Iberia Express low-cost services.

– Today, the BT Group of the UK announced a partnership with SpaceX to deliver Starlink to rural and remote UK areas where fixed-line infrastructure proves economically or geographically unviable. The service will target eligible BT and EE customers in hardest-to-reach locations. The program will launch in the latter half of 2026. You can register your interest HERE.

– Damien Innes, Sr Partnerships Manager at SpaceX, announced a partnership between Starlink Direct to Cell and Beeline Kazakhstan to deliver satellite-based cellular connectivity to individuals in Kazakhstan’s most remote areas, allowing seamless phone and internet access without traditional infrastructure.

■ 𝕏:

– X Global Government Affairs (@GlobalAffairs) announced X funded the legal defense of the UK’s Tommy Robinson who was acquitted of all charges under the UK Terrorism Act after refusing to surrender his cellphone data, including journalistic sources, during a detention where authorities demanded full access. The judge declared the detention unlawful, determining that Robinson had been targeted due to his political views. This ruling represents a significant win for free speech in the UK, countering authorities’ efforts to prosecute citizens for social media activity, with X affirming its commitment to defending such rights.

– X Middle Eeast & North Africa (@XMENA) announced its second-year partnership with Monshaat, the Saudi General Authority for Small and Medium Enterprises, at the Bib’an Global Entrepreneurship Forum. This partnership is to accelerate small and medium-sized business growth across Saudi Arabia. The collaboration equips Kingdom-based businesses with X’s tools to enhance customer connections, brand development, and measurable outcomes, reinforcing X’s drive to bolstering Saudi Arabia’s SMB sector.

■ ELON NEWS:

– “If civilization drops below the tech level needed for interplanetary spaceflight before making life multiplanetary, that could be the end of consciousness... If America falls before consciousness beyond Earth is self-sustaining, it is game over maybe forever.”

– “Given that far more electricity is accessible on a distributed vs centralized basis, AI edge compute on Earth’s surface will probably be >90%. Serious AI scaling that actually registers on the K2 level at all must of course be done in space. Btw, the word “token” is not as good as “bitstream” imo and AI should be measured in terms of file size, rather than parameter count, as the physical constraints are memory, bandwidth and operations.”
