■ TESLA $TSLA ($445.23, 3.66%):
– Robyn Denholm, Tesla’s Board Chairperson, posted a letter thanking shareholders for approving Proposals One, Three, and Four at the 2025 Annual Meeting, affirming support for Master Plan Part IV and Elon’s leadership in pursuing sustainable abundance. The letter highlighted the vote as confidence in Tesla’s mission amid negativity, emphasizing the arrival of the autonomy era with Robotaxi and Optimus poised for massive value creation. Denholm committed to direct shareholder engagement via the Shareholder Platform and events to inform strategy, while pledging bold innovation for a safer, cleaner world.
– Amazing shot by K10 (@Kristennetten) of Cybercab at West Main Entrance of Giga Texas.
– Tesla has enabled trade-in estimates directly within its vehicle configurator in select U.S. states including California, with rollout to all U.S. states and Canada scheduled for next week. For loyalty customers, any applicable loyalty credits tied to eligible trade-in VINs will be automatically factored into the estimate. The tool displays illustrative net trade-in credits, valid for seven calendar days from the time of estimation, subject to vehicle condition inspection, potential adjustments for discrepancies, and application as a credit toward the purchase price after delivery.
– Tesla has launched a car rental program at select U.S. stores, enabling customers to rent various Tesla models for three to seven days starting at $60 per day with unlimited mileage. Rentals include Full Self-Driving (Supervised) access and free Supercharging for the duration. Customers ordering a new Tesla within seven days of returning the rental receive a $250 credit toward the purchase.
– “Almost everyday I see a Tesla Semi…” by Ryan Torres (@RyanTorresTesla), Tesla Staff Program Manager, Digital Content, North America Sales Operations.
– Tesla China launched the Model Y Long Range RWD, offering 821 km (357 miles EPA) via a 78.4 kWh LG battery, priced at 288,500 yuan ($40,500 USD), with deliveries starting in 2-4 weeks.
– New US incentives for the Model Y and 3: 1.99% APR for 72-mo. on Premium RWD and Premium AWD, one free exterior or interior upgrade when leasing, and up to 9.5% and 23% lower starting lease pricing.
– Ryan, The Kilowatts (@klwtts), spotted a Model 3 in Buttonwillow, California, with FSD calibration equipment.
– The Carl Junction Police Department in Missouri added two new Model Ys to its fleet, one to the detective division and one to patrol. Officer Amos Bindel, driving the patrol unit, reports strong performance and extended range, requiring a charge only every three days compared to daily gas refills in previous vehicles. Charging cost roughly $2–$3 at current rates, versus $24 for 12 gallons of gas at $2 per gallon. The department acquired the Teslas to evaluate their cost-effectiveness against traditional gas-powered cruisers.
– Tesla China rolled out the Vehicle-to-Load (V2L) adapter for the Model Y Long Range variant. Owners can now power external devices via the vehicle’s AC charging port with a standard Chinese socket output. The adapter supports 10A at 220V, carries an IP44 rating for dust and water splash resistance, and operates in temperatures from -30°C to +50°C for both use and storage. Early Model Y L owners qualify for a free adapter.
– Per Tesla Sr. Staff Engineer, Yun-Ta Tsai (@YunTaTsai1), “Designing an inference chip for robots is actually very difficult. In data centers each chip is bathed in jacuzzi and babysat by nannies. If they died it would be hot swapped by one of their clones.
The fault rate of GPUs in datacenter is actually quite high. Industrial average annual fault rate of H100 is 9%. Ideal conditions could reduce it down to 2% but never below a single digit. The fault recovery of GPU nodes actually could take a while, from minutes to hours. It is not instantaneous.
In robots, the chips are out in the cold and they need rapid self recovery. The fault tolerance is in a different league. It is not uncommon many robotic companies struggle to get the chip running more than a few hours without rebooting. For chip companies, this is great since they would tell robotic companies to buy more chips for hot swapping.
For robotic companies, this is bad since it is obviously not a scalable solution but they are stuck with endless back-and-forth JIRA tickets with vendors.”

■ THE BORING COMPANY:
– TBC completed final acceptance testing of its first hard-rock TBM before shipping to Nashville. This video features a dust removal system with 15 high-capacity self-cleaning air filters.
This video shows the grip/thrust subsystems delivering over 4,000,000 lb grip force and 1,500,000 lb thrust load, as shown in an 8x speed timelapse. Unlike soft-soil tunnels in Vegas, Austin, Bastrop, and Los Angeles, Nashville’s project targets hard rock for twin 9.5-mile tunnels. That things is sick!
– TBC posted this one-hour timelapse of the LVCC Central Station during the SEMA Convention this weekend. On the day shown, Vegas Loop safely transported 29,755 passengers.
– Speaking of SEMA, Michel (@Mic_VegasSphere) rode the Vegas LOOP from the LVCC Central Station to the Riviera Station this weekend. “My car drove up with an electric scooter on the back that belonged to the incoming passenger. The driver removed the scooter and gave it to the owner. Lots of people using the Loop today. Wait time about 10 minutes.”
Michel also saw Cybertrucks going from Central hall to Encore.
On Sunday Michel hit the monorail and got us an overview of the new Westgate Station construction site. There are at least 12 stacks of road sections to the right of the tunnel. That is a minimum of 100 sections.
■ NEURALINK:
– Alex Conley (@Bcidesign), Neuralink Participant No.2 (NP2), used his implant to generate code for an Arduino, enabling quad stick control of an RC airplane. He and his companions put it to the test, hand-launching an RC plane, while guiding flight adjustments directly by Conley’s thoughts through the Arduino and quad stick. “The possibilities are truly endless. Thank you Elon and the entire team at Neuralink. I am honored to be part of such a great program.” Awesome!
■ STARLINK:
– The Malaybalay City government and Bukidnon State University in the Philippines launched Starlink at BukSU Gymnasium to extend digital access to all 46 barangays, connecting schools, government offices, and remote communities. Mayor Jay Warren R. Pabillaran stated it enables real-time data sharing, enhances public services, and supports smart governance without fiber or cell towers, providing urban-level access in mountainous areas. Per BukSU President Joy M. Mirasol, “Digitalization is not just about convenience—it’s about creating equal opportunities for all. Through partnerships like this, we can make technology truly inclusive and transformative.”
– Starlink is now available in Montserrat.
– The Starlink Mini is now $230.98 at Best Buy!
– Türkiye’s Transport and Infrastructure Ministry denied media reports claiming Starlink would launch operations in the country by April 2026, stating the issue is not currently on the agenda. Earlier claims suggested Starlink would coincide with Türkiye’s 5G rollout, potentially partnering with a local telecom operator or establishing a new company under the supervision of the Information and Communication Technologies Authority (BTK).
– VEON, parent company of Pakistan’s Jazz, partnered with SpaceX to integrate Starlink Direct-to-Cell connectivity into its networks in Kazakhstan via Beeline. They already have a contract for Ukraine via Kyivstar. The nonexclusive agreement limits rollout to these two countries, with no immediate plans for Pakistan, Bangladesh, or Uzbekistan.

■ ELON NEWS:
– Elon Quotes this weekend:
-
“To paraphrase Voltaire, those who believe in absurdities can commit atrocities without ever thinking they’re doing anything wrong. What would happen if there were an omnipotent AI that was trained to believe absurdities? Grok is the only AI that is laser-focused on truth.”
-
“As the number of bits drops, the difference between floating point and integer decreases until they are the same thing at 1 bit. “Floating point” is not real. It is emulated with 2 integers and a lot of complexity. Dynamic mixed precision seems to be the best path. Whatever on average optimizes for the least amount of energy required to flip the least number of gates to achieve the right answer.”
