Aiming for a fast follow to AI5, so hopefully mid 2028 for volume production of AI6. AI7 will need different fabs, as it is more adventurous.

– Per Elon, “We should not take survival on Earth too much for granted. No commercial opportunity, however large, is more important than ensuring the long-term survival of consciousness, which becoming multiplanetary enables. Space habitats require mass transfer from elsewhere to grow. Planets do not. That said, a self-sustaining city on the Moon, while not as resilient to calamities that affect Earth as Mars (due to its proximity to Earth), is probably nonetheless worth the doing, in addition to Mars.”
Elon is getting honed in for Moon Base Alpha!
