– Elon is seeking feedback from the public who had any difficulties trying to buy a Tesla. “Our goal is for the purchase and delivery experience to be fast and simple, with accurate answers to your questions. The key test is that you would recommend it to a friend.” Reply HERE if you have any feedback for him.

The new boost kit will help sustain the lab’s altitude through a series of longer burns planned periodically throughout the fall of 2025.

– Possible Flight 11 static fire this weekend according to a Sunday morning road closure from 5:00 a.m. to 12 p.m. CT. Remember, this will be the final flight of the V2 Starship. – The FAA’s Final Environmental Assessment (EA) has approved SpaceX to increase Falcon 9 launches at Space Launch Complex 40 (SLC-40), Cape Canaveral Space Force Station, Florida, from 50 to 120 annually. They are also approved to construct a 400-foot-diameter concrete landing zone for up to 34 first-stage booster landings per year. The FAA found no significant environmental impacts identified after reviewing 4,275 public comments.

– Per Elon, “SpaceX will do orbital refilling several times next year with Starship V3. Because we are simply docking with ourself, this is a much easier problem than docking with the Space Station, which SpaceX already does several times a year.”

THE BORING COMPANY:

– Michel’s (@Mic_VegasSphere) Vegas LOOP Update:

  • Las Vegas Convention Center South Hall: Michel got pics of the underground interchange. “Here you can see the pit is covered East to West in what appears to be Styrofoam. I have not seen this construction before. Many tunnel sections waiting in the boneyard.”

  • Las Vegas Convention Center Central Hall: The exterior of this station appears to be near completion.

NEURALINK:

– Neuralink announced that on August 27th and September 3rd, University Health Network’s Toronto Western Hospital, as part of the CAN-PRIME Study led by Dr. Andres Lozano, performed Canada’s first two Neuralink implant surgeries. This marks the first such procedures outside the U.S. Both Canadian patients have cervical spinal cord injuries.

Per Dr. Lozano, “It’s a profound to be a part of this breakthrough research and to lead Canada’s first Neuralink surgeries. This milestone represents a convergence of neuroscience, engineering, and clinical care. I’m proud of our talented team for helping push the boundaries of what’s possible for patients with paralysis. The patients who volunteered to be the first in Canada are remarkable individuals, making significant contributions to advancing science and healthcare.”

For those interested, Dr. Lozano will be speaking at the Glasgow Neuro Society’s 13th International Conference on the 18th October.

Per Neuralink cofounder DJ Seo (@djseo), “We’ve been busy, that’s 3 surgeries in the past 3.5 weeks. Lots of exciting updates coming soon.” If my count is correct, that makes a total of 12 implanted patients!

– Shortly after the announcement, Elon stated, “Aiming to restore (limited) sight to the completely blind next year.”

– Neuralink Director/Engineer for Head to Brain Interface Applications, Nir Even-Chen (@NirEvenChen), posted they are looking Software and Machine Learning Engineers for their Application Team. “Lead the development of brain-computer interfaces! Empower people with paralysis to control devices & robotics with thoughts, restore sight & speech, and redefine human-tech interaction. Not sci-fi. 12 people already use our device at home and soon many more who are waiting to unlock its potential! No BCI/neuro exp needed, just passion & talent.”

■ STARLINK:

– Today, SpaceX’s VP of Starlink Business Operations, Lauren Dreyer (@LaurenDreyer) was in India and met with Devendra Fadnavis (@Dev_Fadnavis), Chief Minister of Maharashtra, Parliament Member Milind Deora (@milinddeora), and Shri Vaasudev Hare Krisshn, Group Chairman of World For Indians, to discuss Starlink’s expansion plans in India and Maharashtra. They explored how Starlink could bridge the digital divide, enhance education, healthcare, and opportunities in India’s most remote regions.

– SpaceX Starlink Enterprise Account Manager Jeff Ellenoff (@JEllenoff) visited Michiel and Tim at Blue Wireless’s Amsterdam office yesterday, for a Quarterly Business Review. Per Blue, “Partnerships are strongest when business meets real connection. We had a great exchange of ideas on how we can continue driving value together for our customers.”

– In select areas, Starlink is offering a $175 Standard Kit, down from $349, and discounted Residential plans for your first year. Click HERE for a free month and see if your area qualifies.

– North Carolina’s $408 million BEAD program plan allocates about one-third of its funding to Starlink and Amazon’s forthcoming satellite service to over 93,000 unserved homes and businesses. These grants will enhance satellite capacity rather than ground infrastructure. Customers are still responsible for service and equipment costs.

– The X for Brands Summit in Bangkok, Thailand. X Marketing’s Trang Hoang (@tranghoang) was with X’s Head of Asia Pacific Alan Lan (@bluealan), along with partners Aimme Sitthisenee (@aimmeholic) and Pieter-Jan de Kroon (@pjdekroon).

– X Global Government Affairs (@GlobalAffairs) has posted that Denmark’s EU Presidency has revived the EU proposal for a CSAM regulation with “chat control” provisions that mandates tech companies to scan private communications for child sexual abuse material using client-side scanning (CSS) on users’ devices before encryption. This undermines end-to-end encryption (E2EE) and could force platforms like X to comply, relocate, or face bans, risking false positives, privacy violations, and weakened cybersecurity. The proposal may be voted on by EU Member States next month, impacting negotiations with the Parliament and Commission.
