7. Tesla Ordered to Pay $329 Million in Autopilot Crash Liability:

A Miami federal jury ruled Tesla one-third liable for a 2019 Key Largo crash involving Autopilot, awarding $329 million ($200 million punitive, $129 million compensatory) after the system failed to warn driver George McGee, resulting in the death of Naibel Benavides Leon and severe injuries to Dillon Angulo. McGee was not looking at the road at the time of the accident as he was reaching for his phone. Elon said Tesla plans to appeal.

xAI’s $61 million donation for upgrades at four Memphis-Shelby County schools (HVAC, plumbing, athletic fields, STEM labs) near Colossus 1 was approved. Neuralink’s trials reached 9 participants! Patient No.9 Audrey Crews (first woman) showed she can now draw and write her name telepathically after 20 years, and No.8 Nick Wray says he has regained digital autonomy. Neuralink also gained approvals for the GB-PRIME study in the UK.
