Per Franz von Holzhausen (@woodhaus2), “Happy 10 year Anniversary Model 3!”

– Optimus back at work today. Lines stretched around the corner to meet him at the Tesla Diner.

Per Elon, “Optimus 3 is walking around, but needs some finishing touches before it’s ready to be shown…”

– Two Cybercabs in Oklahoma. Pic by Reddit u/ZackKreggs.

– Tesla expanded its unsupervised Robotaxi geofence in Austin. The new boundary more than doubled in size and crossed the Colorado River, allowing operation north of the river into downtown Austin.

– Tesla Dublin Team. Per Danielle Martins Oliveira, Tesla Dublin Sr Delivery Advisor, “And that’s a wrap! Q1 2026 is in the books for Tesla Ireland. A very fast-paced start to the year, with strong execution across the board and plenty of challenges met head-on. What stands out most isn’t just the results — it’s how they were achieved. Without such an amazing team, that kept the standards high throughout the quarter, none of this would have been possible. Grateful to be part of it! We are ready for Q2!”

– For those living in Tokyo, you can receive Japan’s national CEV subsidy of ¥1.27 million ($7,990) plus a subsidy from the Tokyo Metropolitan Government of ¥400k to ¥800k ($2,520 to $5,040). The national subsidy is through their Clean Energy Vehicle program by METI. It applies to eligible Tesla vehicles registered from January 1, 2026 onward and stands at 1.27 million yen as of March. The Tokyo Metropolitan Government’s ZEV subsidy amount depends on model or conditions.

– Australia’s 150th Supercharger has officially opened in the heart of the Hunter Valley wine region, Pokolbin, New South Wales. It features 8 stalls available to all CCS2 compatible vehicles. Per Thom Drew, Tesla Australia & New Zealand Country Director, “A big congratulations to our local Charging team on this milestone and the continued expansion of the Supercharger network!”

The Tesla Sydney, Australia, showroom was hit by a suspected arson attack this morning. Three vehicles were destroyed and the building suffered significant fire damage after the blaze was deliberately lit using gas as an accelerant. Jerrycan lids were found near the dealership. The fire spread into the ceiling space but was contained by Fire and Rescue NSW. No injuries were reported. NSW Police and Cumberland Police Area Command are investigating the motive and reviewing CCTV. Tesla Australia confirmed it was not a vehicle or battery-related fire.

– The new 24 stall Supercharger at the Van der Valk Hotel Gent in Ghent, Belgium. Cybertruck was on hand to celebrate the grand opening. Pic by Viki Aga of the Van der Valk Hotel.

– South Korea’s Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport (MOLIT) announced that unauthorized activation of Tesla’s FSD is illegal. They claim Tesla Korea identified a vehicle software vulnerability related to attempts to activate FSD without permission and reported it as a cybersecurity threat to automobiles. This violates Article 29 of the Motor Vehicle Management Act and Article 35. Penalties can include up to 2 years in prison or fines up to ₩20 million ($14,000).

– Tesla has filed TDLR permits last week for a new Megacharger station at the Pilot Travel Center on FM 1788, located about halfway between Midland and Odessa, Texas, on Interstate 20.

SPACEX:

– Crews installed the cladding along the sides of Pad 2’s roof. The cladding will protect the drawworks and other machinery at the top. Pic by Jordan Guidry (Jordan Guidry) for WAI (@FelixSchlang).

– SpaceX performed another deluge test yesterday evening.

– Per Elon on the Reuters story that SpaceX was only going to use E*Trade for retail investors, “These reports are false…”

– What is true and will affect the SpaceX IPO is Nasdaq announced changes to their Nasdaq-100 index inclusion rules. The new rules that will be effective May 1st include:

  • “Fast Entry”: Large IPOs with market cap ranking in top 40 of current Nasdaq-100 constituents eligible for inclusion after ~15 trading days.

  • 10% minimum float requirement removed.

  • Low-float stocks allowed (with capped weighting).

  • Shift to fully quarterly, rank-based rebalances.

  • Market cap calculation now includes listed plus unlisted shares.

– Interesting find by NSF today. Raptor engine R87 was spotted rolling by at SpaceX’s McGregor, Texas, test site… It was last seen on Super Heavy Booster 19 following its static fire test at Starbase. Looks like it may have been replaced for more testing/inspections.

THE BORING COMPANY:

Per The Diggeridoos, “Day 1 at the Boring Competition and this is already our strongest start yet. The team showed up ready to go and everything is coming together fast. All gas, no brakes.”

– We finally get to see the new Vegas LOOP Fontainebleau Station!

– Hume-Fogg Library of Nashville, Tennessee, was invited to the TBC’s Music City LOOP dig site for a tour where students got to meet the team.

NEURALINK:

Per Kenneth Shock (@Life_With_ALS), NP21/VOICE2, “The biggest challenge I’m facing right now is adapting to the tech. Getting in the habit of using the implant to talk/type instead of using what’s left of my voice. Thankfully, I’m finding the process to be relatively easy. I expend much less energy using the BCI, so I find myself naturally turning to it more and more.”

– Here is Ryan Tanaka’s (@RyanTanaka) March Neuralink update. Follow Ryan and Nera Pod (@NeuraPod) for in depth updates on all things Neuralink.

■ STARLINK:

– LeoLabs (@LeoLabs_Space) detected a fragment creation event involving Starlink 34343 on March 29th. The satellite appears to have experienced an internal energetic anomaly (explosion). Tens of trackable objects were immediately detected in the vicinity. The satellite and debris are expected to burn up in the atmosphere within a few weeks. No official statement from SpaceX on the exact cause has been released yet. They did confirm yesterday they were investigating.

This pic is from HEO (@heospace) of Starlink 34343 on February 14th. HEO are now tasking follow-up collections to bring visual awareness and understanding to the satellite’s state.

– Kenva Williams, Director General of Turks and Caicos Islands Telecommunications Commission, stated yesterday that residents can expect Starlink soon, with packages potentially as low as $45 per month. Starlink Caribbean withdrew an initial ISP license request under category ISN2 and submitted a new Non-Geostationary Orbit (NGSO) satellite license. The Telecommunications Commission completed public consultations, created the new broadband-via-satellite license framework, and approved it. It is now pending Cabinet approval.

– Pro Star Aviation with the first Starlink Aviation install on Falcon 2000 & 7X. “Seamless Integration. Preserves Aircraft Design. High-Speed, Low-Latency Connectivity. Now Installed on Falcon 2000. Falcon 7X Completed. Falcon 900 Installation in Motion. Additional Aircraft Scheduled.”

■ 𝕏:

– X is working to apply Grok Translate to X Articles!

■ xAI:

– Colossus in Memphis. Pic taken today by Leo (@LeoOMUSC).

– Grok Imagine is doing positive gross margin for xAI.

Per Elon, “The future of AI is primarily video understanding and generation, because photons are by far the highest bandwidth form of communication. These are essential tools for AGI. Worth mentioning that Imagine is positive gross margin for xAI, not a money loser.”

– Oracle (@Oracle) announced that it is bringing NVIDIA (@nvidia) B300 GPUs and xAI’s Grok 4 and Grok 4 Fast models to its U.S. government cloud regions. This gives federal agencies access to this AI hardware and models in physically separated infrastructure meeting FedRAMP High and DISA Impact Level authorizations (IL4, IL5, IL6). It supports demanding inference workloads, LLM training, and applications like data extraction, code generation, text summarization, situational awareness, and cybersecurity. NVIDIA Nemotron models are also being offered for agentic AI.

– X Ad Products Lead, Nate Esparza (@Nate_Esparza) can confirm.
