Later today Captain Arve 𝕏 (@captainarve) reported that the Seine Highway ship arrived in Trondheim today carrying a large shipment of Teslas. Norway’s impending end to VAT exemptions for EVs this year has triggered a massive rush for deliveries before December 31st. Great work guys!

– Plus Power secured $160 million in tax equity investments from Morgan Stanley to fund two battery energy storage system (BESS) projects in New England. The financing allocates $95 million to Cranberry Point Energy Storage in Carver, Massachusetts, a 150MW/300MWh facility using 82 Megapack 2XL units, and $65 million to Cross Town Energy Storage in Gorham, Maine, a 175MW/350MWh project representing the region’s largest BESS, with commercial operations slated for late Q4 2025.

– Tesla Australia announced their are now over 150k Teslas on their roads.

THE BORING COMPANY:

– This is not new, but MSM has jumped on it. So let’s remove the drama and state the known facts.

TBC refuted Nevada OSHA’s May 28th, 2025, issuance of three chemical burns suffered by two firefighters during a December 10th, 2024, tunnel training exercise. TBC provided nearly 1,000 pages of documentation evidencing safety briefings, protective equipment issuance, and tunnel-clearing efforts, while attributing planning breakdowns to the Clark County Fire Department.

The company deemed the proposed $425,595 fines “absurd“ and “false,” in a detailed 25-page slide deck presented at a May 29th, 2025, collaborative meeting with state officials including Nevada Governor’s office infrastructure coordinator Chris Reilly, a former Tesla employee, and TBC President Steve Davis. The citations were withdrawn following a pre-meeting legal review determining they failed legal requirements and overlooked submitted materials.

What MSM has jumped on is that it was outside of the standard appeals process. Nevada OSHA didn’t properly document the removal of the citations. A document in the case file did not show a meeting with Steve Davis and the governor’s office. The meeting information was added later.

You can draw a lot of conclusions, but OSHA did not follow the standard procedures.

NEURALINK:

– Another video drop by Rocky Stoutenburgh, aka Rockynohands (@RockyNoHands). Not sure who is controlling the arm, but yes, Convoy is the project Neuralink is developing to allow users control of augmentations. Sick!

– Yvonne Seo (@yvonneyseo) “I’m challenging myself to write weekly on Substack for the next 6 months: mixing life, work, and whatever I’m learning/ reading. This week’s piece starts with my husband getting a distinguished alumni award at UC Berkeley, detours into my Michael Levin obsession, and somehow ends with parenting + AI alignment. Random? Yes. Fun? Absolutely.

Neuralink co-founder, DJ Seo (@djseo) replied, ““agency without aligned values creates rogue paths”, “defining where the “I” ends and the “not-I” begins, and helping that boundary expand over time”

■ STARLINK:

– Kamran Cheema, CEO of Akoustis Technologies (@AkoustisTechCrp), visited the Starlink Factory in Bastrop, Texas, stating “Akoustis’s XBAW filters will enable the next gen Sats – inspiring!“ SpaceX acquired the assets of Akoustis Technologies in May 2025 through its subsidiary, Tune Holdings. Akoustis’s role is to provide patented XBAW RF filters for Starlink. XBAW technology employs MEMS-based thin-film processes for high-frequency (1.5-20GHz+), ultra-wideband, and high-power filters optimized for 5G, Wi-Fi 7, and satellite applications, with superior resonator performance including enhanced coupling and Q factors. Pic by Kamran from his visit.

– Starlink’s usage in Myanmar has fallen nationwide by approximately 50% in the past month, dropping from around 20,000 active users to 10,000, primarily due to regulatory crackdowns targeting scam centers. Myanmar’s military government, in coordination with Thai authorities, raided over 40 scam facilities in October alone. The junta’s communications ministry now requires official registration for all terminals, limiting access mostly to border areas and legitimate businesses. Scam operators have started to shift to alternatives like VSAT or smuggled Chinese satellite services.

– Starlink Germany is now offering a Residential Lite (Rental) plan for €29/mo. with no contract term and a Standard Kit for free. The only upfront cost is a €19 shipping fee. New subscriber click HERE for a FREE month of service.

– Fly Alliance announced free complimentary Starlink on all its Starlink-equipped aircraft. As an authorized Starlink dealer, the company has installed the system on Ultra-Long-Range aircraft and plans expansions across its Heavy Jet fleet in coming months.

■ xAI:

– xAI Memphis participated in the YMCA and WREG News Channel 3’s Coat Drive, delivering coats to children in Memphis-Shelby County to ensure warmth during cold weather. Per The YMCA of Memphis & the Mid-South (@YMCAMemphis), “Warming Hearts & Homes Across Memphis! Together, we’re keeping kids warm and futures bright!“ xAI team members include Briana Hamilton (@BreezyHam24) and Shea Carbognani (@shea_stock). Also driving the event was the man himself, Kemp Conrad (@kempsuper9).

It will be an open source distillation of all knowledge, including audio, images and video. Join xAI to help build the sci-fi version of the Library of Alexandria! Copies will be etched in stone and sent to the Moon, Mars and beyond. This time, it will not be lost.” Do Asimov proud and keep it named Encyclopedia Galactica.

– X Japan’s Head of Marketing, Yohei Takeshita (@airbreeze), spent three days at xAI’s Palo Alto office, observing development, new services, and passion. He became convinced through direct experience that no other company holds such vast potential. “Returning home with a sense of exhilaration from being in an environment where I can truly believe, from the bottom of my heart, that by fully fulfilling my role and identifying areas for collaboration to co-create, there is infinite fulfillment to be found.”

– Per Elon, “The first compelling Grok Imagine 30 min show is probably ~3 months away. 15 second Grok Imagine videos & much improved sound coming by next week.”

– You can now Long-Press on any image (Android and iOS) and be given the option to “Make Video with Grok”. You will have a video in less than 30 seconds.

– “False…” said Elon on a report claiming that xAI raised $15 billion in a series E funding round. Best part, when Reuters contacted xAI for comments, they got a reply of “Legacy Media Lies“.
