Attendees reviewed Megapack 2XL to Megablock changes, toured of the Megafactory, and discussed sustainable abundance. “Our Megafactory went from a field of grass to producing Megapacks in only 7 months, and our Gigafactory is home to one of the highest volume vehicle production lines. We celebrated how far we have come together and looking forward to a future of sustainable abundance. Standing on stage on that rooftop with the lights of Shanghai in the background speaking with you all and sharing stories is a memory I’ll not soon forget.”

– The Texas Brookshire Megafactory held a student event yesterday for select students from the University of Houston and other local colleges. They gained insights into daily engineering processes for battery manufacturing, tooling, automation, process flow, testing, facility, and storage systems. It included meetings with Tesla engineers, team leaders, and recruiters to explore engineering roles. As you can see no equipment yet.

Notice the employee shirts and slide for the new MFTX logo and Cyber Bull (Texas Longhorn). I made a render as best as I could with Grok from the slide.

– Tesla launched a dedicated FSD safety webpage featuring a live counter tracking total miles driven by owners overall. The site reports FSD achieves 7 x fewer major collisions, 7 x fewer minor collisions, and 5 x fewer off-highway collisions compared to the average U.S. driver. Click HERE.

– Tesla updated its U.S. referral program to offer referrers $250 in Tesla credits for standard purchases or $500 if the buyer adds Full Self-Driving (FSD) Supervised on a new Model 3 or Y using the code. Referrers earn an additional $15 in Tesla credits per new-to-brand referral who completes an FSD demo drive, capped at 30 awards for a total of $450. Buyers using the code receive three free months of FSD or $500 off an FSD purchase on Model 3 or Y vehicles.

– Tesla will participate in ELF 2025, a Turkish exhibition focused on EVs, charging, and energy efficiency. It is from November 27th – 30th at Dr. Mimar Kadir Topbaş Eurasia Exhibition and Art Center in Yenikapı, Istanbul. Attendees can download the ELF app HERE to obtain a free invitation.

– Sandra Barba Lizarralde, Tesla Energy Business Development and Policy for Latin America, presented at Colombia’s inaugural Energy Storage Congress, highlighting progress on battery energy storage system (BESS) regulations now under review at the Comisión de Regulación de Energía y Gas (CREG) following public consultation closure. The framework covers network assets, standalone, and co-located systems, with all three categories awaiting robust economic incentives to enable investor commitments and initiate utility-scale Megapack orders.

– David Arnaud (@DavidArnaud3), Tesla Energy Head of Sales for EMEA Utility and Commercial Storage, attended the construction opening of Project Mufasa in Vlissingen, Netherlands, Europe’s largest battery energy storage system at 350MW/1.4GWh capacity. Under construction for several months, the site will receive Tesla Megapack 2 XL units early in 2026, with Tesla providing full EPC services up to high voltage led by Tesla Sr. Technical Project Manager, Michał Kuciński. It is financed via €350 million non-recourse funding from six banks and Macquarie Group as equity provider, with contributions from Jeroen Zanders and Nelson De Oliveira. It is slated for operation in 2027 and the project replaces a coal-fired plant connection and powers over 200,000 households. The event was attended by the Dutch Prime Minister, Dick Schoof (@MinPres).

NEURALINK: N/A…

■ STARLINK:

SpaceX filed an amendment with the FCC under proceeding ID 1110902230406, docket 5, adding unpaired AWS-3 spectrum—acquired from EchoStar for $2.6 billion in stock—to its pending application for authority to deploy a next-generation satellite constellation using AWS-4/2 GHz and AWS-H Block spectrum. The filing seeks a waiver to repurpose the terrestrial-allocated AWS-3 for direct-to-cell services, enabling a 15,000-satellite network providing 4G LTE-equivalent capacity, reduced latency, and nationwide mobile coverage with 20 times the throughput of its current T-Mobile partnership. SpaceX outlined a hybrid satellite-terrestrial architecture with optional base stations for capacity enhancement, excluding EchoStar’s decommissioning infrastructure, and referenced the FCC’s case-by-case consideration for non-eligible bands under the supplemental coverage from space framework.

– Emirates Airline announced a partnership with SpaceX to add Starlink to their fleet, with an unveiling at the Dubai Air Show starting Monday, November 17th. Once problem as of right now, the United Arab Emirates currently prohibits Starlink operations and require government policy modifications to enable the deal, and the service hasn’t been certified for Emirates’ showcase plane, the double-decker A380. The Dubai-based airline runs about 250 wide-body jets and has over 300 more on order from Boeing and Airbus.

– SpaceX held their first Starlink Reseller Forum at the Cape in Florida where top global resellers convened; newcomers and early adopters from maritime, energy, and enterprise sectors. Participants engaged in sessions on the reseller program’s evolution, upcoming network enhancements, and SpaceX’s missions extending from low Earth orbit to Mars exploration. They discussed current projects, partnership expansions, and executive insights from Starlink’s regional sales teams. The event’s scale, world-class hospitality, outstanding food and cocktails were top notch like always. Pics by Derek Phillips, Co-Founder & Managing Director of Clarus Networks (@Clarus_Networks).

– Thailand’s Digital Economy and Society Ministry, Chaichanok Chidchob, rejected SpaceX’s Starlink proposal for 100% foreign ownership citing national security risks and telecom laws barring full foreign control. “No matter how good the Starlink system is, we must consider the entire ecosystem… It will not just fill gaps in underserved areas but could alter the entire market structure.”

■ xAI:

– Per U.S. Vice President JD Vance (@JDVance, @VP) “I’m A Grok Guy… I think it’s the best. It’s also the least woke.”

– Judge Mark Pittman of the United States District Court for the Northern District of Texas, Fort Worth Division, has denied Apple and OpenAI’s motion to dismiss xAI’s antitrust lawsuit, which accuses the companies of illegally monopolizing the AI and mobile app markets through preferential integration. xAI claims that embedding ChatGPT into iPhones via Apple Intelligence provides OpenAI an unfair edge, coercing users toward it and sidelining rivals like Grok while blocking other AI apps from App Store prominence. Apple defended its OpenAI partnership as lawful, but Judge Mark Pittman ruled for further proceedings.

■ ELON NEWS:

– Elon and Baron Capital’s Ron Baron (@RonBaronAnalyst) today. “Ron is the kind of supporter and friend who is there even when things are super tough… The only kind of friend that matters.”

Per Elon on Optimus, “People often talk about eliminating poverty and providing great medical care, but they don’t actually have a solution. And money doesn’t solve it because there’s only so many, very limited number of great doctors and surgeons. They don’t grow on trees. But now they’ll get built in factories…”
