– Tesla announced an interim award of 96 million restricted shares to Elon. This addresses his lack of meaningful compensation for the past 8 years. The 2018 CEO Performance Award, supported by shareholders in 2018 and 2024, remains in legal limbo after invalidation by the Delaware court. As most of you know, Elon achieved all milestones, increasing Tesla’s market capitalization by $735 billion. The board views this as honoring the original deal amid ongoing litigation.
