– Karen Scarpetta, has been appointed as Tesla’s country manager in Colombia. She is a Colombian executive with a degree in International Business and Marketing from Griffith University in Australia, previous roles at Groupon and EF Education First, and a key position at WeWork since 2017 where she led its Colombia launch and directed South America and Mexico operations. Tesla will officially enter the at the International Auto Show in Bogotá from November 14th to 23rd.

– The new Tesla Chile experience store is getting a lot of hype. Since Tesla’s March 2024 market entry, two Pop-up Stores in eastern Santiago and an additional two in Viña del Mar and Concepción, the company has sold 1,611 vehicles overall. Going into this week, they were at 663 units delivered year-to-date in 2025 with a goal of 1,000 for the year. This goal will place Tesla among the country’s top EV sellers. – American Home Contractors’ (@AHCDMV) new video dissects the Tesla Energy Solar Roof’s physical components. Breakdown includes the distinction between active solar tiles that generate power and non-solar glass tiles for aesthetic integration, the protective underlayment beneath them, the durable metal flashing system for weatherproofing seams and edges, the embedded wiring for electrical connectivity, and their seamless attachment to the underlying roof structure via specialized mounting hardware.

– Aimee Frugoli, Tesla’s Sr Recruiter for the Manufacturing Program, hosted educators from Washoe County School District at Giga Nevada. The group toured the plant’s lines, test-drove Model Ys and Cybertrucks, and tackled a collaborative hands-on challenge to spark ideas on manufacturing innovation. Wrapping up was a dynamic panel and Q&A with Senior Leaders and Managers, diving into the Manufacturing Development Program (MDP). MDP is a high school apprenticeship partnering with Nevada’s Governor’s Office of Economic Development, offering paid training in robotics, assembly, and sustainability to pipeline local grads into Tesla roles.

– Theresa Reyna, Tesla Recruiter, visited Canyon High School earlier this month to present the Manufacturing Development Program. The students were highly engaged.

– The young American EV company Slate announced that its flagship electric pickup and SUV conversion kit will feature Tesla’s NACS port, granting access to the Supercharger network.

– Tesla has a new job opening for a “Manufacturing Engineer, Roadster” located at the Fremont factory with a salary range of $80,000 to $174,000. The role involves the validating processes from prototype builds to full-volume production for the Roadster’s new battery architecture. Position link in the sources section.

– Josef Tadich (@JosefTadich), Tesla Energy APAC Regional Director, will join a Clean Energy Council panel at All Energy Australia on October 30th from 11:10 – 12:40 in Room 211 at the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre (MCEC). “The Cheaper Home Batteries Program, launched earlier this year, is already delivering around 1,000 installations a day across Australia – that’s around 5 to 10 MW per day. The current NEM utility-scale battery dispatch record is 2169 MW. Can home batteries catch up and accelerate household participation in the energy transition? The race is on!

– Tesla’s energy storage team, including Ana Cristina Fiallo, Tesla’s Business Development and Policy Lead for Latin America, recently met with Mexico’s CENACE to discuss sizing, operating, and integrating Megapacks and Powerwalls into the National Electric System (SEN). Each are looking to address challenges like variable solar/wind integration, peak load strains, and the 35% clean energy target. Supported by SENER’s Power Sector Development Plan 2025-2039 emphasizing BESS for reliability and renewables, Mexico is planning its first national BESS auction for 300 MW of 4-hour discharge capacity, projecting a $3.8 billion market by 2030. Per Ana, “With Tesla’s global expertise and CENACE’s deep system knowledge, we’re building the foundation for a more resilient, flexible, and sustainable grid.” Other team members include Sarah Walinga, Mohammed Nassar, Sayan Samanta, Dr. Eduardo Rosales, and Erandi Sombra.

– The Superchargers Network ranked highest in Norway’s CPO Customer Satisfaction Survey by EPSI Norway for the fifth consecutive year! It excelled in reliability, pricing, and ease of use for both Tesla and non-Tesla vehicles, with overall satisfaction increasing. Per Tesla Supercharging Director, Max de Zegher (@MdeZegher), “5th year in a row, in a country where 98% of cars sold are EVs. We’re always learning from our Norwegian customers. Plug & charge should be the way all customers pay for charging. Extreme cold makes that further obvious.”

■ ELON NEWS:

– Per Elon, “Wired, The Atlantic, Guardian and many other propaganda legacy publications would die immediately if they had to support themselves. Donations from far left organizations disguised as charities are what keep them alive. They serve simply as a means of influencing Wikipedia, Google, etc as fake “authoritative” sources.”
