By partnering with local clubs to offer free autumn holiday activities focused on technical workshops and job application training in a relaxed setting, they seek to to build skills, social bonds, and personal development as an alternative to commercial leisure. – According to Alexander Kristensen (@LinkN01), Enköping municipality rejected Tesla’s application to test FSD in the city, deeming it unsafe for urban environments despite lacking hands-on experience with the technology. This marks another setback for autonomy in Europe and Sweden, following Stockholm’s June denial due to resource overload rather than safety. There are no municipal approvals for urban trials to date—though Tesla completed a successful site assessment for FSD v14 on highways with the Swedish Transport Administration in September. – Last night launch 139 of Falcon 9 SpainSat NG II took place from Space Launch Complex 40 (SLC-40) at Cape Canaveral Space Force Station, Florida. This was the 22nd and final flight for first stage booster B1076. It previously launched CRS-26, OneWeb Launch 16, Intelsat IS-40e, SES O3b mPOWER-C, Ovzon-3, Eutelsat 26D, Turksat 6A, Maxar 2, SXM-9, and 12 Starlink missions. The booster was expended to reach a higher trajectory.

This is the second of two new-generation satellites built by Airbus to provide secure communications to the Spanish government, its allies, and various international organizations.

– Veronika Nikitina, SpaceX Sr Launch Engineer, attended the Society of Women Engineers (SWE) 2025 career fair in New Orleans—the world’s largest event for women and allies in STEM. “It was so inspiring to meet young women exploring paths in engineering industries. Totally worth sharing some guidance and spark a bit of inspiration for the young talents.” The fair is at the Ernest N. Morial Convention Center and ends tomorrow, October 25th.

– Elon on the Chinese LandSpace Falcon 9 mock up, “They have added aspects of Starship, such as use of stainless steel and methalox, to a Falcon 9 architecture, which would enable it to beat Falcon 9… It will take them over 5 years to reach Falcon 9 levels of reliability and production/launch rate, by which time SpaceX will have transitioned to Starship and be doing over 100 times the annual payload to orbit of Falcon… A reminder that rapid evolution of technology is the only way to win. Those who don’t innovate rapidly are doomed to fail. The next Starship launch is version 3, which is radically better than version 2. Then, in a few years, V4 will double the payload of V3.”

– SpaceX signed a 24,100 sq ft renewal and expansion lease at Douglas Development’s 1155 F St. NW in downtown Washington D.C.

– Today, SpaceX transferred an additional $133.7 million in Bitcoin to new wallets, following a $268.5 million transfer on Tuesday. The company holds 6,970 BTC valued at $770 million. These actions consolidate holdings by shifting from legacy to modern wallet addresses.

SpaceX VP of Starlink Business Operations, “The Starlink team is in close contact with emergency preparedness officials and rapid response teams in Jamaica, Haiti, and the Dominican Republic, among many other countries across the Caribbean that may be impacted by Hurricane Melissa.”

– A couple of weeks ago, I mentioned SpaceX was building nine ground stations in Mumbai, Noida, Chandigarh, Hyderabad, Kolkata, and Lucknow. So nothing new. What is new is a temporary spectrum is now allocated for 600 Gbps capacity to test compliance with Indian security rules, without commercial services. Operations and data storage will be managed solely by Indian citizens, with foreign personnel requiring Ministry of Home Affairs approval.

– Starting November 7th, SpaceX is imposing a speed limit on Starlink Mini dish usage under the Roam and Priority plans, reducing the maximum supported operating speed from 550 mph (471 knots) to 450 mph (391 knots). Customers exceeding this limit, detected via recent high-speed operations, must switch to the Starlink Aviation plan at $10,000/month for unlimited data or $2,000/month for 20GB. Per Preston Holland (@prestonholland6), “Starlink figured out that a lot of people were using a Starlink mini in their jets. So they lowered the speed. Now you can only do it in light jets and down.“ Many small planes cruise below 450 mph.

– Per Elon, “My apologies for frustrations with the 𝕏 algorithm. We are working hard to fix the problem.” Not sure if there is a specific issue, because I have not noticed any negative problems.

– By November 10th all X accounts using a security key for 2FA must re-enroll their key to maintain access; users can re-enroll the existing key or a new one, but enrolling a new key invalidates any unre-enrolled previous keys. After the deadline, non-compliant accounts will lock until the user re-enrolls a key, switches to another 2FA method, or disables 2FA entirely.

■ xAI:

– xAI has dropped a new Grok Companion (still iOS only 🙄) named Mika. Her discription is a 24-year-old woman who is the “kinda gal who’d rather burn rubber on a bike than fuss with lipstick.” She’s got a confident, energetic vibe and an independent streak a mile wide. She’s defined by her actions—always on the move, just back from a ride, living for the “open road and adventure.” Her X account is @m, an xAI affiliate. – Solaris Energy Infrastructure entered into a 900 MW joint venture with xAI on April 28th this year to meet rising data center and AI-driven power demand. Its stock has a 61.97% year-to-date return and 266.24% total shareholder return over the past year. For 2026, leveraging its modular, scalable power generation solutions, analysts are projecting a fair value of $55.89, suggesting the stock is 14.7% undervalued despite trading at a high 103.6x price-to-earnings ratio compared to the industry.
