“Extreme execution is needed, but a valuation of $20 trillion for Tesla is possible…” – Elon Musk (@elonmusk)
■ TESLA ($316.06, +3.52%):
– In Denmark, Tesla’s Electric Summer Vol. 2 is hitting up local Superchargers. Today they were at Søndervig. Here are the locations for this weekend; Saturday – Kliplev, Sunday – Maribo, and Monday – Nyborg. Per Nicholas Elston, Tesla Customer Engagement, “We are already 2 days into our electric summer tour – and the atmosphere is top-notch! In 5 days, we visit 5 Superchargers around Denmark. Come by, say hello, have a chat about electric cars and experience the Tesla community up close.” Pics by Nicholas.
– Chinese state media CCTV and Dcar tested 36 electric vehicle ADAS systems in highway and urban scenarios, including night driving and obstacles. Tesla’s vision-based FSD system on the Model 3 (RWD Refreshed) and Model X (2023 LR Refreshed) led, passing 5/6 tests, outperforming LiDAR-equipped Chinese brands like Huawei’s Aito M9 and Xiaomi’s SU7, which struggled with complex conditions despite China’s data restrictions.
Per Elon, “Due to laws against data export, Tesla achieved the top results in China despite having no local training data. Tesla is adding training data from our world simulator and test tracks to achieve 6/6.”
Per Tesla China VP Tom Zhu (@tomzhu_nz), “6/6 = Keep You Safe!”
– The 108 Megapack 2XL 200 MW/400 MWh grid-scale battery CS Energy Greenbank Battery. This site is located in Greenbank, a suburb in Logan City, southeast Queensland, Australia, and began commercial operations in June 2025. It is capable of powering 66,000 homes for two hours. In the pic are Electrical Maintainer Operators Mark Colles, CS Energy Chief Executive Officer Brian Gillespie, Operations Superintendent Renewables and Firming Mick Louis, Government Relations and Social Performance Manager Jess Chad, and Jeff Watts.
– Tesla Europe has two new centers in Italy. One is in North Rome, located in Saxa Rubra. This center is already open to the public, and from the 29th of July to the 6th of August 6, Cybertruck and Optimus will be on display. The second center, opening the 29th of July, is in Puglia, in the Casamassima shopping center in Bari.
– The new bk World Lounge at the 56 stall Tesla Supercharger in Magnant, France, 250 kilometers southeast of Paris.
– Supposedly, Tesla is set to launch a Robotaxi pilot program in the San Francisco Bay Area. This comes from Business Insider, so big grain of salt with this. The service is to operate within a large geofenced area covering Marin, much of the East Bay, San Francisco, and San Jose, but unlike the Austin pilot, it will include safety drivers in the driver’s seat who can manually intervene using the steering wheel and brakes. Tesla has not secured a California DMV permit for fully driverless operations.
– Tesla Delivery Advisory, Leona Bong, hanging out with Optimus in Malaysia.
– Glen Hart and the Bastrop Economic Development Corporation toured Giga Texas this week. Per Glen, “I’ve never toured a ‘regular’ car factory but this almost felt like a Disney exhibit showing what a car factory could look like in the future. Humans and Robots working together creating the most American-made, safest vehicles ever, right here in Austin at a little mile long, 11 million sq. ft. building on 2,500-acres…”

– Last night in Mega Bay 2, Starship 37 got outfitted with the 2nd aft flap; her last and final flap. Consensus is that all 6 Raptors are installed as well. We should see her Static Fire campaign on the adapted Pad 1 OLM soon.

■ STARLINK:
– Yesterday’s Starlink outage lasted approximately 2.5 hours and was due to a failure of key internal software services that operate the core network. Per Michael Nicolls (
), VP of Starlink Engineering, “We apologize for the temporary disruption in our service; we are deeply committed to providing a highly reliable network, and will fully root cause this issue and ensure it does not occur again.”
– Yesterday, reports indicated that the Executive Yuan of Taiwan has approved a six-year NT$27 billion (approximately US$923 million) investment plan in next-gen communications technology, aiming to attract at least three international LEO satellite constellations by 2030, with Starlink positioned as a key target. If true, this marks a shift from previous hesitations, where Taiwan avoided Starlink over concerns about SpaceX’s China-linked supply chain and potential government influence on Elon via Giga Shanghai. Of note, Starlink has not applied for a license in Taiwan.
– Osvaldo Gago, Starlink B2B division through Elipgo Technology in Argentina, collaborates with DeepAgro, a company specializing in AI-driven agricultural solutions, to enhance connectivity for its clients. By equipping DeepAgro’s machinery with Starlink Minis, the SprAi product—designed for selective spraying in crops like soybeans, maize, peanuts, and cotton—ensures reliable, high-speed internet access in remote agricultural regions across Argentina. This partnership is backed by Elipgo Starlink’s service level agreement (SLA) guaranteeing 99.6% uptime. This connectivity supports DeepAgro’s mission to optimize agricultural efficiency through real-time data and advanced technology.

■ ELON NEWS:
– After Trump post yesterday on Elon and his companies, Elon replied saying, “The “subsidies” he’s talking about simply do not exist. DJT has already removed or put an expiry date on all sustainable energy support while leaving massive oil & gas subsidies untouched. SpaceX won the NASA contracts by doing a better job for less money. Moving those contracts to other aerospace companies would leave astronauts stranded and taxpayers on the hook for twice as much!“
