ELON CHRON: 26th of March, 2026

“AI content will vastly exceed all human content…” – Elon Musk (@elonmusk)

TESLA ($372.11, -3.59%):

“The Future is autonomous…” John (@teslaownersSV) found the Bay Area Calibration Cybercabs.

– Elon is liking and commenting about a possible 6 door Tesla SUV. 6 doors has me thinking Suburban, Expedition, or Tahoe size. The fact that it will get people to have more kids really pumped him up, saying, “Well, I guess we should solve this.” Yesterday, he said Tesla was making something way cooler than a mini-van. New Model incoming!

Q1 2026 Delivery Consensus Estimates:

  • Total Vehicle Deliveries: 365,645 vehicles

  • Model 3/Y Deliveries: 351,179

  • Model S/X/Cybertruck Deliveries: 13,946

  • Energy Storage Deployments: 14.4 GWh

Full Year 2026 Total Deliveries Consensus is 1,689,691 vehicles, and Energy Storage Deployments Consensus is 65.2 GWh. The consensus is compiled by sell-side analysts and not endorsed by Tesla.

– Alexandra has made the following step-by-step instructions for filing a complaint of bias judicial misconduct against Chancellor Kathaleen McCormick of Delaware. If you are a Tesla Shareholder, or someone who is just tired of the lawfare, it is highly recommended. https://docs.google.com/document/d/1Da2_tit1_vvxghTRxEl76WOmJ7kbnAZqfFlrQd8gTfg/edit?usp=sharing

– Tesla released a new video featuring David Moss (@DavidMoss), highlighting his recent cross-country trip using FSD (Supervised) with zero interventions. David drove a Model 3 from the Tesla diner in Los Angeles, California, to Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, covering 2,732.4 miles in 2 days and 20 hours. The trip spanned 24 states. The vehicle handled every road sign, turn, and Supercharger stop, including all parking. The drive was completed with Tesla FSD V14.2.

– GO Rentals in New Zealand purchased 51 new Model Y Long Range vehicles for NZ$4 million ($ as part of its EV fleet expansion. The purchase more than doubles its existing Tesla fleet and makes GO Rentals the country’s largest Tesla rental operator. The company uses Tesla for Business and the Tesla API for real-time monitoring of kilometers, tire pressures, charging control, diagnostics, and service coordination. No Tesla service technician is needed for routine tasks.

Teegan Huynh, GO Rentals CFO, said Tesla was the only brand that held up against the rigor of a national rental network and that Tesla vehicles cost around 70% less to maintain and run compared to traditional ICE vehicles. Brad Rodden, Operations Manager, called the data integration a game changer.

– Israeli Transportation Minister, Miri Regev (@regev_miri), quote posted Elon, saying FSD is “Coming soon… 🇮🇱.” Regev has repeatedly pushed for autonomous vehicle approval, stating she received many requests from Israeli Tesla owners and instructing her ministry to advance ratification after required tests. In February, her ministry approved Tesla to begin FSD trials on Israeli roads. No launch date was given.

– Maye Musk (@mayemusk) is in Beijing, China, and noted that Teslas are everywhere. She started taking photos, then visited one of the local showrooms. Love it when Maye documents Teslas during visits to other countries. Could you imagine going about running the showroom and she walks in?! 😲 🫠

– Tesla Korea is offering a limited-time price adjustment on FSD for customers who pre-ordered the Cybertruck. Non-purchased FSD customers can buy it at the pre-booking price of KRW 7,714,000 ($5,130). Customers who already paid KRW 9,043,000 will receive a refund of the difference, KRW 1,329,000 ($883). The offer runs from March 26th to April 24th. Owners must contact Tesla Korea directly.

– Today, Klarissa Garcia (, Sr. Site Specialist for Community & Site Relations at the Tesla Lithium Refinery, brought her Team to the Del Mar College Winward Campus recruiting Process Technology & I&E students. They conducted Tesla Info Sessions that covered projects and job opportunities to support Tesla’s mission.

– Tesla Charging (@TeslaCharging) introduced the Folding Unit Superchargers (FU Superchargers)! They feature a V4 cabinet with 500kW charging, 8 posts per unit, 2 units per truck, and come in two configurations: folded and unfolded. Max de Zegher (@MdeZegher), Tesla’s Sr Director of Charging, stated that FU Superchargers save +20% on cost, improve build quality, and deploy 2X faster. Major savings come from civil, electrical, and logistics costs. On-site work is reduced with no DC busbar connection and no Tesla service technician needed for commissioning.

The design ships 16 Supercharger posts per truck (previously 12), making pre-assembled shipping cheaper than traditional construction. It is Rev1, with Rev3 planned by next quarter. One post can be depopulated for trailer or ADA use.

– Per Hussein Hamdan (@husseinhamdan_), Giga Texas End of Line Production Control Supervisor, “Feeling grateful and honored to work with a world-class team capable of handling any challenges that arise. While some team members are missing from this picture, our End of Line Production Control and Hazmat Operations team consistently comes in and executes with excellence.” Great Supervisor bring together great teams.

SPACEX:

– Today launch 38 of Falcon 9 Starlink 17-17 took place from Space Launch Complex 4E (SLC-4E) at Vandenberg Space Force Base, California. This was the 23rd flight for first stage booster B1081. It previously launched Crew-7, CRS-29, PACE, Transporter-10, EarthCARE, NROL-186, Transporter-13, TRACERS, NROL-48, COSMO-SkyMed Second Generation FM3, and 12 Starlink missions. The booster landed on drone ship Of Course I Still Love You in the Pacific Ocean. 25 Starlinks were deployed.

– Gwynne Shotwell (@Gwynne_Shotwell) is on the cover of TIME (@TIME). The profile covers her position serving as president and COO, second only to Elon, SpaceX operations including Starlink, and the merger with xAI. Shotwell oversees 23,000 employees and focuses on ramping up Starship production. There are 18 vehicles in various stages of construction at Starbase. Their prime focus is NASA’s Artemis IV lunar landing in 2028. She aims to build a Moon settlement and manufacturing facility within 10 years (hopefully five), including producing AI satellites on the Moon, and envisions Starship enabling humanity as a multi-planet species. Wonderful interview. Links in the sources section.

– SpaceX has filled FCC Docket 0601-EX-ST-2026, a request to operate Starlink earth stations (phased array terminals) on its Reentry Vehicles during Falcon 9 launches from Cape Canaveral between May and November of this year. The Reentry Vehicles will be secondary payloads. They will carry Starlink terminals for telemetry, tracking, and command (TT&C) operations after the primary payload is released, communicating during reentry and recovery. Transmit power will not exceed 4.06 W, with a maximum EIRP of 38.2 dBW. The system adjusts power to maintain a constant signal level, complies with ITU EPFD limits for NGSO systems, and automatically ceases transmissions within 100 milliseconds if limits are exceeded.

– I reported on December 19th that a proposal was brought forth during a Commission Meeting Starbase for a community library. Well, residents are teaming up to build that library! It is described as an accredited physical space that will serve as the heart of the growing city, offering books plus a gathering place for reading, learning, and connection. Residents are supporting the effort by selling library-themed merchandise or donations through the new website to fund the volunteer work. All merch ranges from $25 to $30. Links are in the sources section.

– Claudius (@ClaudiusNDX) took to the air over the McGregor Test Site. We got to see a Falcon 9 booster vertical for testing, the Mystery Building, and possibly a new site with high walls. Good stuff!

– SpaceX tops the list of the most valuable private companies in the U.S.

– Reports say SpaceX is telling prospective IPO investors to expect briefings in April from company executives. Advisers are preparing to file for the largest IPO in history. The IPO prospectus maybe filed as soon as this week, with potential to raise more than $75 billion at a valuation up to $1.75 trillion. Elon is pushing for up to 30% of the IPO shares to be allocated for retail investors, above the typical 5-10% in major deals. The April briefings are described as “testing-the-waters” or “temperature check” meetings after the Easter holiday to gauge investor interest and support valuation targets. This of course has not been confirmed by SpaceX or Elon.

THE BORING COMPANY:

– Westgate Resort and Casino in Las Vegas announced it will be the first resort with a direct connection to Harry Reid International Airport via the Vegas Loop. On March 9th, TBC posted when Prufrock-2 porpoised the second tunnel behind the resort. The first tunnel connection to the airport is expected to be complete by the end of April.

Per Dawn Rawle, Westgate Vice President of Marketing, “It helps that we are so close to the Las Vegas convention center, also making it easier for every convention goer coming into this city… These tunnels are 2.4 miles long and behind us… You can make it from our property to the airport in about three minutes.”

NEURALINK:

– Today, Kenneth Shock (@Life_With_ALS), NP21/VOICE2, posted…

“Not only can I speak with the implant, I can also use it for dictation. I “typed” this, but without a keyboard – or any other text entry device – except the implant. I am also The Man Who Types With His Mind.”

“Physically, no different than before. Mentally/emotionally? I used to dread getting up in the morning. I was already exhausted and ready for a nap soon after breakfast – and much of that was struggling with having no job and fewer hobbies. Now I’m up at 6 AM and raring to go!”

Kenneth also posted that he has a button to press to signal when he wants the app to “listen” to his mind. Once he has his sentence, the same button sends his it to the “model for processing.” Cool insight into VOICE!

“The BCI is located over the speech area of my brain. I have to INTEND to speak to get any meaningful output + signal the app to “listen”.”

■ STARLINK:

SpaceX has altered Starlink software in real time to circumvent Iranian jamming attacks and protect communications. Per Brian Hurley of the New Space Economy, “In Iran if the ‘satellite battle’ is understood in the broader modern sense, this electronic contest absolutely belongs inside it, because the fight is not only about satellites; it is also about who can keep satellite-enabled communications working and who can deny them. SpaceX engineers who raced to fortify the Starlink service were battle-hardened, with their defensive maneuvers in Iran “echoing the earlier Ukraine case where Russia attempted to jam Starlink.” H/T Brian Basson (BassonBrain)

– IEC Telecom is shipping 140 Starlink High-Performance kits to projects in Africa for managed Starlink Land solutions, Rapid Deployment Kits (RDK 2.0) for disaster response and humanitarian missions, and network management tools for challenging environments.

– American Airlines is in talks with SpaceX and Amazon to add Starlink or Amazon LEO as their in-flight Wi-Fi. American Airlines currently has a deal with Apple for streaming music and Apple TV+ content.

– Volare Aviation Limited completed the UK’s first Starlink aviation installation on a Bombardier Challenger 604 aircraft at its Oxford headquarters. The company states it is the exclusive UK provider of Starlink aviation services in business aviation and the only one offering full design, installation, certification, and support for private jets and helicopters. Volare Aviation is based at London Oxford Airport in Kidlington, Oxfordshire.

■ 𝕏:

Jason Calacanis (@Jason), tech start-up investor and host of The All-In Podcast (@theallinpod), posted “Please use grok for search for X…” And Elon responded, “Improved search is super important.” He also stated “I agree, it’s terrible…” in a reply to Dillon Loomis (@DillonLoomis). I hate doing this without the proof, but I saw an X employee post looking for input in regards to something with X Search soon after. I just can’t find it now.

Per X Head of Product, Nikita Bier (@nikitabier),

“The full power of Grok on the algorithm launches next week. It will be the most important change we’ve done on X.”

Per the new X Design Lead, Benji Taylor (@benjitaylor),

“We’re building the design dream team at 𝕏 and xAI, and I’m actively hiring. You’ll work on products at incredible scale, with people who care deeply about craft, speed, usability, and impact. You’ll be pushed hard, learn a ton, and do the best work of your career. If that excites you, my DMs are open.”

– X Head of Global Marketing, Angela Zepeda (@AngelaZepeda), is no longer with the company. Her LinkedIn shows she left the company in February. Reports are that Elon conducted a round of layoffs of nontechnical staff after the xAI merger with SpaceX, looking to right-size the platform ahead of the IPO. The reports say X let go over 20 staffers in marketing and other departments that were seen as duplicative to jobs inside the merged company.

– Today, X placed X Pro behind X Premium+ subscriptions only. No prior notice was given to users. X Pro is the multi-column web dashboard for monitoring multiple timelines, lists, searches, and feeds in real time.

Per X Head of Product, Nikita Bier (@nikitabier), “What we’re launching in X in the next week or two will be much more powerful than XPro. We’re only keeping XPro for people that absolutely need it for hyper-specific business workflows.”

■ xAI:

“Where the magic happens…” by X Ads Product Lead, Nate Esparza (@Nate_Esparza).

– As of March 2026, the Shelby County Assessor’s Office has appraised Elon Musk’s two xAI data centers in Memphis at a combined value of approximately $3.4 billion to $3.5 billion.

Tax Revenue Impact:

  • Shelby County government projects that xAI could pay nearly $28 million in property taxes for the upcoming cycle as the second data center is added to the tax rolls.

  • This represents a 122% increase from the company’s 2025 property tax payment, which was approximately $12.5 million.

  • Combined city and county property taxes for the current year are estimated between $25 million and $30 million.

– After OpenAI announced the shutdown of its Sora app on March 24th, Similarweb (@Similarweb) took a look at AI video generation traffic over the past 12 months. Grok Imagine has grown consistently since its launch and is shown taking over Sora’s market share. This is why OpenAI was losing money with Sora.

– Design Arena (@Designarena) posted that Grok 4.20 Reasoning is now No.2 on the Web App Arena, with an Elo of 1335.

– Per xAI Technical Staff Member, Shen Zhuoran (@CMS_Flash)…

“1. Understanding and generating videos are mutually beneficial. They are the training materials for physics and embodied AI, e.g. Optimus.

2. Real-time video generation is the most direct and flexible AI-native user interface. It’s possible that it will subsume all frontend UIs.”

■ ELON NEWS:

– Today, Elon’s lawyer Alex Spiro filed a letter accusing the San Francisco federal jury of bias in the recent Twitter shareholder lawsuit. In the handwritten verdict form, one damages entry showed “$4.20” written in bright blue ink. Spiro called the $4.20 reference a “mocking” jab at Elon and said the verdict was “a mockery of justice” and “corrupted by bias.” He plans to seek a probe into jury bias and file a motion for judgment in Elon’s favor or a new trial.

Per Spiro, “The inescapable conclusion is that the jury felt it appropriate to use its verdict to send a message to Mr. Musk…

The jury’s emphasis on the $4.20 number, which had no significance to its damages determination, but appears to be a mocking reference to a number previously associated with Mr. Musk, shows that the verdict was a mockery of justice: a commentary not on whether Mr. Musk committed securities fraud, he did not, but on the jury’s views about Mr. Musk himself…

No reasonable and experienced person could have any faith in the fairness of this proceeding or its resulting verdict. I remained concerned that Mr. Musk would be unable to seat an impartial jury given his notoriety and reputation in the District.”

– Elon and Nick Shirley (@nickshirleyy) at xAI Palo Alto. Per Nick, “Strong men must be ready to stand up.”
