– Starship Flight 11 has been pushed back a week. The Coast Guard has posted a new LNM showing a target date of October 13th.
– Last night, launch 127 of Falcon 9 Starlink 17-11 took place from Space Launch Complex 4E (SLC-4E) at Vandenberg Space Force Base, California. This was the 16th flight for first stage booster B1082. It previously launched USSF-62, OneWeb Launch 20, NROL-145, and 12 Starlink missions. The booster landed on drone ship Of Course I Still Love You in the Pacific Ocean. 24 Starlinks were deployed.

– Last night, Starbase City Commissioners met to formalized an Interlocal Agreement with Cameron County, granting the city dune delegation authority over portions of the 7.4-mile Boca Chica Beach to address erosion. The rates are 5-20 feet per year. The plan includes halting erosion through regular cleanups, rebuilding resilient dunes for storm protection, and preserving wildlife habitats. The collaboration will leverage state, federal, and private partnerships from SpaceX.

Launch 132! Monday, 6th of October, at 6:15 p.m. CT, Starship Test Flight 11 will launch from Orbital Launch Pad 1 at Starbase, Texas. Vehicles are Starship 38 and Super Heavy Booster 15-2. This will second flight for Super Heavy Booster 15-2 and it will make a planned splashdown in the Gulf of America. Starship 38 will splashdown in the Indian Ocean.
■ THE BORING COMPANY:
– The Boring Company has delivered its belt cassette system to the Music City Loop site in downtown Nashville, Tennessee. The belt cassette is a tall, stacked modular conveyor unit designed for spoil removal during tunnel boring. The vertically arranged multi-belt system transports excavated material from the Prufrock tunnel boring machine to the surface dump site at high speeds. – United Airlines received FAA certification for its first Starlink-equipped mainline aircraft, a Boeing 737-800, with the first commercial flight scheduled from Newark/New York on October 15th. Over half of United’s regional fleet already has Starlink installed, with 50 regional jets equipped monthly. United aims to equip all 16+ aircraft models, enhancing inflight entertainment.
– On September 23rd, Starlink 1066’s re-entry was recorded by the University of Western Luciole’s LEO cameras over Saskatchewan, Canada. You can see fragments rotating during the fragmentation!
– SpaceX has integrated Grok into its Starlink customer support channels. It provides fast, contextual assistance for queries, reducing reliance on lengthy documents or human agents.

– X Japan CEO Ayumu Matsuyama announced a successful gaming industry event, “Beyond Excellence – Shaping the Future of Gaming in Japan,” attended by numerous clients from Japan and the APAC region, featuring special guests, influencer MasuoTV (@masuotv) and the popular mascot Chiitan (@chiitan7407). The event highlighted X’s role in facilitating easy posting for Japanese companies targeting overseas markets. – X’s VP of Europe & Africa Sales & Partnerships & Managing Director of Europe, Gregory Owens (@GregJeffOwens), and Team spent last week in the xAI Palo Alto office, meeting with product and engineering teams.
